Sea: Madhya Pradesh government has started efforts to make Bundelkhand an industrial hub. In this series, Regional Industrial Conclave i.e. Industrial Meet is going to be held on Friday at Sagar, the divisional headquarters of Bundelkhand.
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will participate in the meet and sit with big businessmen, industrialists and investors of the country and state and have one-to-one discussions to bring investment in the area. Besides this, MoUs will also be signed with these big industrialists. Due to this, investment will come in the entire division including Khajuraho, Orchha, the cities known for tourism in the division including Sagar.
Event being organized here
The Regional Industries Conclave to be held in Sagar will prove to be a millstone in the development of Bundelkhand. State CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated the conclave. The program is being organized at PTC ground. Preparations have been made here on a grand scale.
Problems in setting up industries will be removed – CM
CM is continuously monitoring the preparations for the meet. Local MLAs are taking information from district and division administrative officers including ministers through video conferencing. CM Dr. Yadav has clearly said that along with the existing industries, the obstacles in setting up new industries will be removed.
More than 60 big industrialists will participate
Small entrepreneurs will also be given opportunities to move forward. According to the information given by the district administration, till Thursday evening, more than four and a half thousand entrepreneurs from the country and abroad have registered for the meet. More than 60 big industrialists and investors from different sectors will participate in it.
Possibility of investment in these areas
According to the information, the industrialists and investors who have agreed to come to the Industrial Conclave. According to him, there is a possibility of huge investment in Bundelkhand in the fields of minerals, tourism, renewable energy, textile, IT, data center, petrol chemicals, plastic, food processing, dairy and furniture manufacturing.
Immense possibilities in local resources and business also
State Food Minister Govind Rajput said that there is ample potential for setting up many industries in the Bundelkhand region, from minerals to tourism to cottage industries. Sagar is recognized as a silver industry in the country. In the field of food processing, there is ample scope for setting up production units of tomato in Chanua, chilli in Chitaura, turmeric in Jaisinagar and desi ghee in Shahgarh.
Sagar can become hub of food processing
He further said that if these efforts are made then Sagar can become a hub of food processing and production. Similarly, there are better options for setting up mineral production units in Shahgarh and Hirapur areas.
