Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Reviews Healthcare Facilities in Mianwali
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif recently visited three hospitals in Mianwali, reviewing healthcare facilities in detail. She was accompanied by Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, RPO, DPO, and other officials.
During her visit, the Chief Minister inspected various wards in District Headquarters Hospital, Trauma Center, and General Hospital. She expressed concern over the revamping of the MS office and admin block before the wards and inquired about the cleanliness and overall environment. She also addressed complaints regarding the non-attendance of consultant doctors and the alleged negligence leading to the death of a patient two months ago.
At the Trauma Center, Maryam Nawaz Sharif inspected the procedure room, minor operation theater, per mile medical emergency, and peds ward. She issued orders to make all wards of the General Hospital functional immediately. Additionally, she addressed concerns regarding the quality and efficiency of medical equipment and inquired about free treatment, medicines, and tests for patients.
The Chief Minister also expressed compassion and love towards the children in the nursery. She emphasized that quality healthcare is a fundamental right for every citizen of Mianwali. She also inquired about standard medical tests and free medicine availability.
