In Gitega, the CNDD-FDD Karusi organizes hill congresses to train its new governing bodies

Instead of strengthening the hill alliances between miryango to promote well-being and harmonious cohabitation within the hills, hill congresses are organized this Saturday in all the hills of Karusi by the CNDD-FDD Karusi Section, especially in Shombo and Bugenyuzi. The objective of these congresses is to set up new governing bodies of the CNDD-FDD, the main political party in Burundi.
However, a disadvantage of political parties is that many families or miryango may be forgotten, which creates frustrations and local social inequalities. With political parties, only family members affiliated with these parties enjoy state benefits. Referring to tradition, it would be preferable to ask the chiefs of the miryango in the different hills to designate one or more representatives to act at the state level.
