CNSeg is launching a platform that brings together all insurance products on the market
The National Confederation of Insurance Companies (CNSeg) is launching a website that brings together all the insurance products on the market so that customers can make comparisons. The platform, designed with Capgemini, should soon be connected to a similar site, but one that brings together brokers in the country.
The president of CNSeg, Dyogo Oliveira, stated that the new site is being launched in the testing phase. “It’s very simple, super easy to access, and it will have offers from all companies, offers for each product,” he said at a press conference.
On the website, called Find Your Insurance, users will be able to compare the different insurance offers on the market, and when choosing one of them, it is directed to the insurer’s channels. In other words: it is not a sales channel per se, but a channel for gaining new customers.
“It is in line with our insurance market development plan, which is to bring more transparency to the market in general”, said Alexandre Leal, CNSeg’s technical director. So far, according to him, insurance companies that represent 90% of the sector’s collection are connected, and the idea is to reach 100% soon.
The site will have filters between insurers, showing the products that each one offers, as well as products. Also on the platform are the so-called accumulation products, such as private pension and capitalization, in which the customer forms a kind of “savings”.
The sector’s Development Plan (PDMS), launched this year by Oliveira’s management, lists a series of factors to make the insurance market reach 10% of the Brazilian GDP by the year 2030.
