Juan Alfredo “N” was found guilty and sentenced to five years in prison for his participation in the murder of the girl Camila, which occurred last March in Taxco, Guerrero.

The sentence was issued by a criminal trial judge from the Court for Adolescents who determined the guilt of Juan Alfredo (now 18 years old) for the crime of femicide.

In addition to the five-year prison sentence for being a co-author of the crime against the seven-year-old minor, the accused was given a warning not to be a repeat offender and to pay full compensation for the damages.

The result of the sentence was leaked via WhatsApp by sources from the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Guerrero during a hearing held last Tuesday in Chilpancingo, while, because the crime was committed when he was a minor, the details of the resolution are kept confidential.

Juan Alfredo, who committed the crime as a minor, will spend five years in the State Center for Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms.

Despite this sentence, two other people involved in the crime are still awaiting sentencing: Axel Alejandro “N”, Juan Alfredo’s brother, and a taxi driver identified as Ricardo “N”.
