The governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, highlighted the importance of talent and the participation of youth in building the future of the state. During the State Youth Award ceremony “Young Giants 2024”, The president recognized 11 young people from Coahuila for their outstanding work in various areas.
“Coahuila needs the talent of the young people of our state, so that together we can continue to build the greatness of our state.“We are very proud of our work and our commitment to the community,” said Jiménez Salinas when presenting the awards. The award, which is given annually, aims to celebrate and recognize those young people who, with their conduct, effort and leadership, have made a difference in their communities.

Within the framework of this celebration, The governor also swore in the members of the State Citizen Council “Juventud Pa’delante”.
This advisory body, made up of young people from various regions, has the mission of analyzing, discussing and proposing actions regarding youth public policies.
At the event, 11 young people who stood out in different fields were recognized.
“This is a great way to close the month of Youth; today, with the presentation of this award and the installation of the State Council ‘Juventud Pa’delante’, we are closing it with a flourish.“, said Jimenez Salinas.
The governor stressed the importance of youth participation in his administration and urged the members of the Council to promote public policies that benefit the state’s youth.I celebrate the installation of this Council because I am sure that we will come up with many good ideas and, in addition, they will support us in fulfilling our promise to our people.“, he said.

Iván Terashima Zamora, head of the Coahuilense Youth Institute, highlighted the governor’s commitment to youthpointing out that since the beginning of his administration, Jiménez Salinas has placed young people at the center of his policies.
“The State Youth Award is a program that recognizes and celebrates those who, with their effort, creativity and leadership, have made a difference in their community.“Terashima said.
