Cobwebs, dirt and irregular documents: a bar in Fidenza fined by the NAS

by time news

The Carabinieri of the Anti-Adulteration and Health Unit (NAS) of Parma recently conducted a health and hygiene inspection at a bar in Fidenza (neither the name nor the area where it is located were given) as part of the control activities aimed at ensuring food safety and compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
The inspection revealed significant health and hygiene deficiencies in all areas of the business. In particular, a widespread presence of dirt and cobwebs was found, a sign of inadequate maintenance of the premises.
It was also found that the allergen book had not been updated, a mandatory document that must clearly report the ingredients and substances used in food preparations that can cause allergies or intolerances. This lack represents a serious risk to the health of consumers, especially those with specific allergies or food intolerances.
In light of the violations found, the legal representative of the bar was given a fine of 1,000 euros.
