Which are the companies that offer irregular medicines according to Cofepris?

According to official information, these are seven companies that are now on the blacklist of the highest health authority.

Medical Abast, located in Hidalgo.
Jhadyd, Rosan Medical and Juan Carlos Vallejo Rodríguez, all three located in Mexico City.
Uriel Ortega Gerardo and Skingardem, in Nuevo León.
SP Medical, in Guanajuato.

Main mistakes made

In this regard, the Commission mentions that some of the products offered by said companies could lack the active principle; contain harmful ingredients; be adulterated, expired or stored incorrectly. While in the case of medical devices they could have been manufactured with poor quality materials.

Among the irregularities detected by this authority in the mentioned companies are the lack of Operation Notices and that the verifying personnel could not verify the sanitary conditions of the establishments.

Furthermore, in the specific case of Jhadid More than 30 faults were identified, among which are:

Marketing of counterfeit medicines. It does not have files with a copy of the legal documentation, both from its suppliers and from the establishments to which it distributes medicines. Absence of a registration system for the entry and exit of medicines; Lack of inventories that guarantee the correct traceability and management of the medicines that it sells. Not having temperature mapping, so the proper storage and conservation of medicines is not guaranteed.

For now, Cofepris invites you to consult the List of irregular distributors that integrates 115 establishments that fail to comply with current legislation.
