After just a few sips you can feel the effect: your heart beats faster, you feel shaky, and some people start to sweat. The question arises spontaneously: is drinking coffee bad for you? On the contrary! This is demonstrated by two current studies.
For a long time, however, researchers seemed to disagree on this point. Studies now show that those who drink coffee regularly are healthier in the long term. Moderate coffee consumption, about three to four cups a day, is associated with a lower risk of various diseases such as type 2 diabetes, liver damage and even some types of cancer. Coffee drinkers live longer on average. Even for those suffering from high blood pressure, a few cups of coffee a day is not a problem.
