When adventure calls, the humble official Konstantin would be glad not to respond. But no one cares about his opinion. At stake – no matter how pathetic it may sound – is the fate of humanity. Years have passed since the bloody war with the dragons, and the shaky truce is again under threat. And all because a dragon girl from a noble family, due to a number of circumstances, ended up in the land of people, where, naturally, she was not welcome. The death, even accidental, of an aristocratic dragon – her name is Cognata – can lead to a new round of conflict, especially since some dragons can hunt her. Oddly enough, dragons also have their own “hawks”.
