Coimbatore: An 11th class student died in a clash between Alandurai government school students in Coimbatore.
It is learned that an argument took place between 2 sections of the 11th class students studying in Alandurai Government School, Coimbatore. The two factions then barraged each other. Two students, including an alumnus of the school, stabbed three students.
Of these, 3 injured students were admitted to Coimbatore Government Hospital and were receiving treatment. Nandakumar, the son of Sakthivel from Alandurai, sustained serious head, neck and chest injuries and was treated at the Coimbatore Government Hospital in a critical condition.
Alandurai police, who have registered a case of attempted murder in connection with the incident, arrested two people, including a 17-year-old former student, and admitted them to a juvenile correctional facility after an investigation.
Nandakumar, who was undergoing treatment, succumbed to his injuries at the Coimbatore Government Hospital. Thus the attempted murder case was converted into a murder case.
