6 people belonging to the Hindu organization have been arrested for attacking the newly opened restaurant named after Father Periyar.
Today Prabhakaran is going to open a hotel in the name of Father Periyar Restaurant at Kannarpalayam in Karamadai area near Mettupalayam, Coimbatore district. He has been working with the workers yesterday evening.
At that time, a gang came there and criticized the opening of a restaurant in the name of Father Periyar and had a heated argument with the hotel owner. Also, they vandalized the shop. After that, the owner of the shop and the people working there were abused and severely assaulted.
In this, Arun (21), who was working there, was seriously injured. After this, the gang ran away after ransacking the restaurant. Arun was seriously injured and admitted to the hospital for treatment. On the basis of the complaint filed by the owner of the shop, Prabhakaran, the police of Karamadai Police Station, who registered a case and investigated the incident, arrested 6 members of the Hindu Front, namely Ravi Bharathi, Saravanakumar, Sunil, Vijayakumar, Prabhu and Prabhakaran, who were involved in the attack and are conducting serious investigations.
