Chennai: “Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi expressed concern that important evidence was destroyed in the high-level terrorist conspiracy in the Coimbatore case.
The Governor of Tamil Nadu RN Ravi attended the inauguration ceremony of the building of hostels for male and female students in a private college in Navakarai area of Coimbatore. In these Twitter posts, Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi expressed his concern over the four-day delay in handing over the Coimbatore blast case to the NIA and the destruction of key evidence in a high-level terror conspiracy. The Tamil Nadu Governor praised the Tamil Nadu Police Department for establishing the car blast as a serious terrorist attack plot within hours of the incident.
The governor recalled the petrol blast attacks in the state for more than 5 days following the ban on BFI and routine response by the administration.
The governor emphasized that there is no need for politics in terrorism, terrorists are anti-national, no one has friends and they should not be shown favour,” the tweet said.
