Coimbatore: In Coimbatore yesterday (Feb.13), Gokul and Manoj, who are on bail in a murder case, went to the court to sign, when a gang of 5 people followed them and cut them with terrible weapons including sickles. Gokul died on the spot. Manoj is undergoing treatment at the hospital with serious injuries.
As the killers fled the scene, the police conducted intensive vehicle searches in various parts of the Nilgiris, including Ooty. In this situation, the police arrested 5 criminals who came on two-wheelers in Kotagiri area. They are being investigated.
