A young man from Coimbatore and a young woman from Africa were married according to the Tamil tradition.

Muthumariappan from Coimbatore, who has been working in Cameroon for the past 8 years, is in love with Valmi Inanga, an accountant at the company. Inanga wants to get married according to Tamil tradition, as both the houses have agreed to love.

For Inanga to chant Vedic mantras on the wedding stage, Muthumariappan built a thali. After the evening had changed, the groom dressed up for Inanga, whom Ammi had stepped on. Later, the two wore the ring according to Christian rites.
