The world-famous Britpop band Coldplay has added another concert to their Korea tour, their first in eight years.

According to the concert planning company Live Nation Korea on the 26th, Coldplay has decided to extend their upcoming concert in Korea, ‘LIVE NATION PRESENTS COLDPLAY: MUSIC OF THE SPHERES DELIVERED BY DHL’, scheduled to be held at Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi Province on the 16th, 18th, 19th, and 22nd of 2025, by one more day on the 24th of the same month.

Accordingly, Coldplay’s concert schedule in Korea, which was originally scheduled to be held four times at Goyang Stadium, will now be held a total of five times with one more day added. With just four performances, it already set a record for the largest and most-constructed single-venue solo concert by a visiting artist, and now it has been broken.

As soon as news of Coldplay’s upcoming concert in Korea was announced, social media and online communities were flooded with posts and comments expressing anticipation and ticket sales information. Most of the tickets for the four concerts were sold through artist pre-sales and Live Nation pre-sales on the 24th and 25th.

The additional performances and remaining tickets for the original 4 performances will be sold exclusively through the official ticket sales site, Interpark Ticket, starting at 12 PM on the 27th.

Coldplay first visited Korea seven years ago for their world tour ‘A Head Full of Dreams’. Their first concert in Korea, held over two days at the main stadium of Jamsil Sports Complex, was sold out, with the largest audience ever, over 100,000 people, filling the stadium to the brim, amidst the passionate cheers and chanting of fans. It has been reported that there will be a special guest for this concert in Korea, and it is expected that Jin of BTS, who collaborated with Coldplay, will be among them.
