jpnn.comJAKARTA – As a result of collaboration with Giphy, WhatsApp introduced a new feature specifically for stickers.
The Android version of WhatsApp now has a larger collection of animated or moving stickers.
Giphy is a platform for sharing GIF format images for use on social media.
WhatsApp users can get a collection of Giphy stickers by clicking the sticker icon > magnifying glass icon to search > write the desired sticker theme/use emoji.
WhatsApp users will later be offered a variety of animated stickers from Giphy’s collection, and can choose to send to other people.
The new sticker feature is now available on WhatsApp Android version 2.24.17.20 or later.
The next new feature is creating stickers directly from the WhatsApp application on Android phones.
This feature is not entirely new, as it has been rolling out since last April.
