Minister of Manpower Ida said that tripartite cooperation between the government, employers and workers/laborers is important in creating harmonious, adaptive and equitable industrial relations.

This was stated by Minister of Manpower Ida when opening the Coordination Meeting for the Development of Industrial Relations and Social Security for Regional and Central Government Workers (KoPHI Darat), entitled “Synergy and Collaboration Towards a Golden Indonesia”, in Jakarta, Tuesday (17/9).

“Through synergy and collaboration between the central and regional governments, the preparation and implementation of all kinds of policies will run smoothly and be right on target,” said Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah.

He said industrial relations and social security for workers have played an important role in supporting the achievement of one of the pillars of Golden Indonesia 2045, as well as creating flexibility in the labor market in facing economic and technological developments.

“The economic development and technological progress that occurs every year certainly needs to be followed by changes in the workforce structure that are increasingly better to achieve the dream of Golden Indonesia 2045,” he said.

He believes that KoPHI Darat can be a momentum to discuss employment issues and strengthen the role of Industrial Relations Mediators (MHI) in resolving various employment disputes.

“Through this Land KoPHI, all problems in the field of industrial relations and social security for workers in the regions and the center can be faced together,” he said.
