GS1 Mexico presented the Collaboration Forum a space where it seeks to strengthen collaborative work between manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers and other members of the sector such as startups, financial institutions and business organizations.

In the Collaboration Forum we are looking for add value to products, turn problems into opportunities and strengthening commercial relationships.

Maximizing the profitability of Ecommerce
After several years of growth, caused in part by the pandemic, one of the challenges that the ecommerce currently faces is to be much more profitable.
“Digital commerce is not at its best (…) Today digital commerce is taking a new turn where companies are looking to be much more profitable” commented Aldo Zerecero, VP and Head Sales of Mexico and Central America of the VTEX electronic commerce platform.
The future of Retail is encoded in 2D
Continuing with the Collaboration Forum and in a conversation with sector leaders they talked about what is coming for commerce in the coming years.
The 2D code is a project that GS1 has developed to address the new needs of retailers and manufacturers such as sustainability, smart pricing and safety.
“The 2D code seeks to give manufacturers the ability to have a single code that serves for the point of sale, marketing, traceability, inventory and security,” said Juan Pablo Gómez, Director of Product and Services Development at GS1 México.
