The moment of the collapse of two houses that were on the edge of a hill, on the outskirts of Draper, in the state of Utah, United States, was captured.
Houses in danger for six months
They had been in danger for six months when their foundations broke after a landslide.
The occupants of these homes had already received an eviction order six months ago, thanks to which no injuries have been reported.

Homeowners Carol and Eric Kamradt moved into the new house at the end of 2021, but less than a year later they were forced to evacuate.
The unoccupied houses were on the edge of a hill and the hill fell away, causing the houses to collapse “down the hill”. According to the authorities, the houses were in danger due to frequent landslides and broken foundations.

The municipal authorities had issued an evacuation order at the end of October and affirmed that for months they followed up with the developer, Edge Homes, on the engineering studies on the stability of the area.
The authorities announced that they will check other houses in the area to avoid tragedies.
