The bulk of Barcelona’s big businessmen supported a PSOE candidate in these last elections. Indeed, the business elite of the Catalan capital anointed Jaume Collboni as their favorite bet to put an end to the days of Ada Colau in the Barcelona council. And he chose this path even though the central government, in the hands of the PSOE, had created a tax on large fortunes and another on banking. The ARA has been able to rebuild this relationship from an idyll that, for now, has had a bad end.
