The Collector conducted a surprise inspection at the Panchayat Union Middle School near Shankarapuram.
The District Collector conducted a sudden inspection at Kolathur Panchayat Union Middle School near Shankarapuram in Kallakurichi district. Then he examined the attendance records of the students. Then he asked the students whether the mid-day meal was of good quality and taste.
He then instructed the principal to provide quality and nutritious food to the students. After this, he inspected the school classrooms and gave proper permission to demolish the dilapidated buildings which are not in use and to keep the toilets clean and provide water facilities.
