The above happened last night Thursday, August 22 at the crossroads of Axis 2 North Manuel Gonzalez e Insurgents North –in the direction of Green Indians- This is in the Cuauhtémoc municipality, in the Mexico City.
According to the first reports, they indicate that the compact car cut off the circulation of the unit with economic number 2606 of Line 1which caused the operator to apply the emergency brake.

However, the Metrobus hit the rear of the private car, leaving 10 people injured, all of them passengers of the articulated truck.
Given the situation, the social network account ‘X‘ Metrobús issued a statement giving details of the incident.
The document indicates that the Control Center received the accident report at 17:35 hours and the operator reported that “a private vehicle performed a sudden braking“situation that caused the impact on the rear of the car.
The authority said it requested support from emergency services to assess the passengers, and had reports of 10 injured people, without any of them having serious injuries that warranted transfer to a nearby hospital.

“Metrobús personnel, the operating company, and the insurance company arrived at the scene to provide the necessary assistance,” the statement concluded.
