A collision between a BMW car and a stork trailer was recorded at km 49 of the Castelo Branco highway, heading inland, in Araçariguama, at 2:37 pm on Saturday, July 1st.
According to the concessionaire CCR ViaOeste, the truck was traveling through lane 3, when when changing to lane 2, without due attention, it collided against the side of the car.
The driver of the truck was unharmed. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
For the concessionaire’s teams and the Highway Military Police to act, the shoulder and lane 1 were blocked at 2:37 pm. Lane 1 was released at 3:20 pm and the shoulder was released at 3:49 pm. The congestion peak was 3 km.
