A few days ago, Tom Boonen stated that Tadej Pogacar would ride faster with another brand of bicycle, something that naturally upset the supplier brand, Colnago, which, in response to these criticisms, invited the Belgian laureate to test his material and participate in a forum to discuss about his claims.

“Colnago responded to Boonen’s off-the-cuff comments by offering to bring the Belgian and his colleagues – at company expense – to test drive the V4Rs bikes used by our teams and then have a chat. public about the data that allowed it to identify the 2 km/h difference with respect to other brands”, reported the Italian company.
Boonen had also opined that the brand was growing, because although they still do not hit the mark with their aerodynamics, they had progressed to being more of the old school, Tom’s own words.
Colnago reiterated its commitment to the UAE and the constant dialogues to meet its needs and enhance this work tool, as well as denied any disagreement reported by its clients.
