Colombian Students to Receive Third Cycle Payments of Renta Joven Subsidy from July 24 to August 2

The beneficiaries of the Renta Joven subsidy, aimed at certain socio-economic condition students in Colombia, will begin to receive payments for this third cycle.

According to the criteria of

Prosperidad Social announced that, from July 24 to August 2, the third cycle of incentives of the Renta Joven program will be delivered to 39,876 participants who are studying at the National Learning Service (Sena), among which 22,182 are women.

Please note that payments will be made to those who have the verification for the period of February – March 2024.

The investment for this delivery will be 15,505 million pesos.

According to Prosperidad Social, the departments where the most participants will receive payment for the third cycle are: Atlántico (5,052), Bogotá (3,773), Antioquia (3,556), Valle del Cauca (2,898) and Bolívar (2,861).

When will payments be made?

The entity has defined the calendar for all of 2024. Therefore, we invite you to know the details of the Renta Joven subsidy payment.

  • Third cycle: in process, from July 24 to August 2 (SENA February and March).
  • Fourth cycle: from August 26 to September 9 (enrollment 2024-1 and SENA April and May).
  • Fifth cycle: from October 18 to November 1 (retention and excellence IES 2024-1 and SENA June and July).
  • Sixth cycle: from December 17 to 31 (enrollment IES 2024-2 and SENA August and September).

Where will the payment be made?

Payments for Renta Joven are managed through Davivienda’s electronic wallet, that is, Daviplata.

Youths who do not have a bank account to receive the payment can open one independently, free of charge and permanently with the payment operator.
