A fire broke out in a building near the Colombo South (Kalubowila) Teaching Hospital.
The fire broke out this morning (28) and is now under control, police said.
While it is suspected that the fire may have been caused by an electrical fault, details of the damage have not yet been released.
Following this, 2 fire trucks have been dispatched to the scene, according to the Colombo Municipal Council Fire Brigade.
