“Research Section” (SR) is a series on TF 1. It is above all a gendarmerie unit specializing in the judicial police. In Île-de-France, there are two, that of Paris and that of Versailles. For the latter, for three years, it was Colonel Thomas Andreu who was at the head of the sixty soldiers who make it up. If it can intervene throughout the Ile-de-France, the SR of Versailles is mainly responsible for the most serious crimes and offenses which take place in gendarmerie zones in the Yvelines and Val-d’Oise.
