Only Ilias Michos and “Mihalis” will be sent to prison for the case of the rape of the 12-year-old girl from Colonos.
Today the court announced the sentences to the 20 defendants for the foul case, with the first ones decided on the protagonist of the sexual violence and exploitation of the child. According to the decision, the 55-year-old owner of the mini market Ilias Michos is sentenced to life for the rape of the child and additional total sentences of 41 years, before the merger, for the abuse of a minor 14 years, for pimping and pornography from 12 years. At the same time, he imposed a sentence of 3 years for the misdemeanors of violating the arms law

According to the court’s decision, restrictive conditions were imposed on some, while monetary guarantees of up to 25 thousand euros were set for others. A request for suspension – except for the 17 – was also filed by “Mihalis”, who was sentenced to 18 years in prison with the merger. However, his attempt to get out of prison until the appellate trial did not find a positive response, neither from the prosecutor, nor from the court. So, apart from the mother who was sentenced to 20 months for extortion, having already spent almost 18 months in temporary custody, the men who were sentenced for the hell that the minor experienced are also expected to be released from prison tomorrow.
It should be noted that the sentences imposed by the court on the 17 convicts are as follows:
- 7 years in prison for four found more than once with the child.
- 6 years in prison for 5 defendants who were once found with the 12-year-old.
- 5 years imprisonment for 3 defendants who thought they were older.
- 3 years in prison for two and 4 years for one, for attempted sexual intercourse.
- Jail sentences of 13 and 15 months, respectively, to two defendants for pornography.
