Colorado state of emergency due to wildfires

In Colorado, residents are being evacuated due to wildfires. Almost 600 houses were damaged due to the fires. State Governor Jared Polis has declared an emergency situation (ES), according to his press office.

The fire spreads due to strong winds, the gusts of which reach 100 mph (160 km / h), follows from data National Meteorological Service of the United States. Evacuation has already been announced in two Colorado cities – Superior and Louisville – with a population of more than 30 thousand people.

About 580 houses, a hotel and a shopping center have been damaged by the fire, AP reports. At least seven rescuers involved in the evacuation were injured.
