If you find it difficult to send text messages with one hand on your iPhone, there is a trick you need to know that can make typing fast, very easy to activate and take advantage of, but many are unaware of its existence.
Apple’s iPhones have grown in size over the years, so using a one-handed device can sometimes be tricky. Thankfully, a mobile phone specialist called “Wahz” has revealed a clever trick from Apple to make typing much easier and faster, according to Apple. British newspaper “The Sun”.
Check the OS version
You can quickly activate a one-handed keyboard on your iPhone, by making sure you’re on iOS 11 or later, by checking Settings > General > Software Update.
When you are sure that you are, you will be able to use the keyboards with one hand through a feature hidden in your phone and easily accessible on any application you want to type in.
First you need to go to the app you want to type in, make sure the keyboard is open, then look in the lower left corner and touch and hold the emoji face or the world icon, and when you hold down on the emoji or the world icon, a small box should appear «Settings» Keyboard,” and in the bottom row you’ll see three different keyboard icons.
How to activate the hidden feature
Click the icon on the left for a keyboard that’s easy to type with just your left hand, then tap the icon on the right for a keyboard that’s easy to type with just your right hand.
Once you’re done using the one-handed keyboard, you can bring it back to normal by holding down the emoji in the bottom corner or the world icon, and selecting the middle keyboard option.
