Until today, we dedicate 20% of our time to trying to explain and assure people that vaccines [de Covid-19] they are not experimental. We need to have a legal structure that is prepared for a next pandemic to deal with the discredit [da vacina]”, said Patricia, during the 7th International Symposium on Immunobiologicals, promoted by the Bio-Manguinhos Institute/Fiocruz, in Rio de Janeiro.

For the expert, an effort is needed to ensure that the correct message is delivered to the population in the most transparent way possible. She also advocated for interdisciplinary education so that all healthcare professionals understand how safe drugs and vaccines are.
