The Vice Ministry of Transportation (VMT) reported on “combo fines,” which consists of imposing multiple traffic violations on drivers who violate the regulations.
These fines respond to complaints through social networks from some users who provide data in both images and details of the people who violate the rules.
“We ask motorists to avoid these behaviors. We ask the population to comply with traffic regulations,” mentioned the VMT after imposing the fines on those involved.
On the other hand, obituaries captured by video surveillance or reported on social networks are processed by traffic agents of the National Civil Police (PNC) and associated with the vehicle’s license plate number.
To check if you have any outstanding notes, the Central American Transit Service (SERTRACEN) offers an online service where users can verify if they have fines associated with their driver’s license, vehicle or dealership. The query is made by entering the driver’s license number or vehicle license plate, as appropriate.
