KUWAIT CITY: Camps begin celebrating spring in the tranquility of the desert. 34 seats in Jahra and Ahmadi governorates have been earmarked for this.
The camps will last till March next year. Preparations for this have been completed. Conditions and restrictions have been put in place for camps to be licensed.
Camps are prohibited except in designated areas. Public service is mandatory near the camps. Guidelines for site booking are available on the official website of the municipality. The applicant for the license must have completed 21 years of age.
No more than one license shall be issued to a person. The license fee is 50 dinars. This is not returned. 100 dinars must be paid for temporary insurance. If the cleanliness certificate is produced, the amount will be refunded once the camp is over.
Many people come to stay in camps to spend their days with the cold desert climate. Many Kuwaiti families and foreigners stay in the camps for days at a time.
