Fashion show on the theme of eco-friendliness on the 30th
Ttukseom Hangang Park will be decorated as a fashion show runway.
The city of Seoul announced on the 13th that it will hold the ‘2024 Seoul Fashion Road @ Ttukseom – Botanic Fashion Show’ at 7 PM on the 30th at Ttukseom Hangang Park in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Previously, the city of Seoul planned the ‘2024 Seoul Fashion Road’ to promote attractive places in Seoul and K-fashion brands together. The first fashion show was held in May at Seokchon Lake Promenade in Songpa-gu, and this fashion show held at Ttukseom Hangang Park is the second event.
This fashion show will be held under the theme of ‘sustainable fashion’, which is a recent trend in the industry. Three designers and 90 models, including BESFXXK, VEGANTIGER, and HOLYNUMBER7, who promote eco-friendly and ethical fashion for future generations, will participate in the event. The designers plan to fully utilize the charm of the open Han River and green gardens to present a diverse runway.
Citizens who wish to participate in the fashion show can apply through the official Seoul Fashion Road Instagram by the 18th. The event will have assigned seating. 300 people will be selected through a lottery among citizens who applied to watch.
“We focused on the theme of ‘sustainable fashion,’ which considers nature in the relationship between gardens and fashion,” explained Go Kyung-in, head of the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s Beauty and Fashion Industry Division.
