Comedian Carolin Kebekus usually keeps her private life out of the public eye. But now she made a rare exception.
At the beginning of the year, Carolin Kebekus became a mother for the first time. However, no further information about her offspring is known; the comedienne strictly protects her private life from the public. Little is known about the child’s father either. The 44-year-old’s fans were all the more surprised when she spoke openly about the birth of her child during an appearance.
“I had imagined the birth to be more romantic,” wrote the entertainer in a video in which a small excerpt from her stage program can be seen. In it, she gives insights into the birth preparations and the actual day of delivery. Carolin Kebekus says that shortly before she went to the hospital, she saw a video called “Get ready with me to give birth” – after which she also got dressed up before the due date.
“I looked great – when I arrived,” the presenter remembers, adding: “I remember the first thing I saw was a Polish midwife, and she said: ‘If you want, we’ll do a little enema. And if you don’t want, we’ll see what comes first.’ Get ready with me to get an enema!”
Carolin Kebekus’ post was extremely well received by her followers, with over 40,000 people “liking” the post.
