Frankfurt am Main/Zürich – Even though the Corona pandemic is almost forgotten by many, there are still some questions that remain. Comedian Kaya Yanar (51) is now addressing these – of course, in his own unique way.

On Instagram, the native Frankfurter is currently presenting an excerpt from his new comedy program, which Kaya will present next year in Germany and also in Austria.
“Kaya Yanar is LOST,” it says, and in it, the 51-year-old will show that he no longer understands the world and has many unanswered questions, including the one about the coronavirus.
He read that virologists discovered the virus for the first time in a bat’s anus, Kaya says on stage in the posted reel. He wonders how a virologist would even come up with the idea to look there, and also: How did it even get in there?

However, the most pressing question is how it could be transmitted from there to humans.
“Because,” says Kaya, “a bat’s ass doesn’t just fly right into your face!”. Then he imitates a bat that kamikaze-like dives at innocent passersby, rear first.

Kaya’s fans find the joke totally funny, as the many comments and laughing emojis in the comment section show. Not a few of Kaya’s fans have, of course, already bought tickets for the tour next year.
Currently, Kaya is also on stage, but only in Switzerland. For good reason: since 2011, he has been in a relationship with Swiss dressage rider Josephine Rosen (38), to whom he moved in 2012 in Zurich.
Since 2018, the couple has been married and has two sons born in 2019 and 2021.

And since life in Switzerland has its peculiarities – not only with regard to language – Kaya often humorously addresses his situation as a chosen Swiss.
This has led to several special comedy programs – just for Switzerland.
