Italian winger Federico Chiesa has officially joined Liverpool from Juventus for £10 million ($13.2 million).

Chiesa, 26, the son of former Italy striker Enrico Chiesa, is Liverpool’s first signing since new manager Arne Slot arrived in the last transfer window.
The striker shone with Italy (51 appearances) during the 2021 European Championship, reaching the final against England on penalties at Wembley, before his career slowed down due to various injuries.
He scored 9 goals in 33 Serie A games last season for the Old Lady, a club with which he had a contract until 2025, but new coach Thiago Motta has not called him up since the start of the new season.
The value of the deal was not announced, but the English press estimated that it could reach 12.5 million pounds, including bonuses, equivalent to 15 million euros.
The deal for Chiesa also includes Liverpool paying £2.5 million ($3.3 million) in bonuses based primarily on the team’s performance.
