The premium cinema CineMastercard in Baku will screen a sequel thriller about a supervillain from the DC Comics universe from October 3 “Joker: Madness for Two”reported Day.Az in the press service of CineMastercard.
The main roles of the Joker and Harley Quinn in the film were played by an American actor, Oscar winner. Joaquin Phoenix and singer Lady Gaga. The film also stars Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland and Harry Lawtey.
The director of the film is Todd Phillips.
The film had its world premiere in competition at the Venice Film Festival. The musical received an 11-minute standing ovation from the audience.
Briefly about the film: After becoming the Joker and killing Murray Franklin live on television, Arthur Fleck ends up in Arkham Asylum, where he meets Dr. Harleen Quinzel. They soon realize that they are madly in love with each other.
