Commander of the Southern Command for fighters, Major General Yaron Finkelman, has declared that the fighting in the region will intensify, stating, “We have only just begun.” In a meeting with fighters, General Finkelman emphasized that there is no intention to stop the fighting.

During the meeting, General Finkelman commended the soldiers for their bravery and dedication, saying, “We paid a heavy price for it, but what you all did saved thousands more citizens.” He further emphasized that the goal is to continue crippling the enemy and that they have only just begun to achieve their objectives.

With an area now under their control and a strong defense, General Finkelman assured the fighters that any small incidents occurring are isolated and manageable. He urged them to pass on his message to all the fighters.

This recent address by General Finkelman follows a successful operation to recapture Kibbutz Bari. Brigadier General Hiram describes the operation and the role of the soldiers involved in a separate article, “This is how we recaptured Kibbutz Bari.”

It is clear that the IDF is committed to intensifying the fight against the enemy. With the support of citizens, residents, soldiers, and commanders, the IDF aims to further cripple the enemy’s capabilities. The message from General Finkelman is clear – they have only just begun and will not stop until their objectives are achieved.
