Washington Commanders Players Left Cold and Frustrated After Loss to Giants
After a disappointing 31-19 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday, players on the Washington Commanders were looking forward to a hot shower in the locker room to wash off the bad feelings. However, they were left cold and frustrated when they discovered that there was no hot water available.
The Commanders confirmed reports that there was a major equipment failure in the main water heater that provides hot water to the field level locker rooms. A Commanders spokesperson explained that the issue could not be resolved during the game without completely shutting off the water to the stadium.
This is not the first time that FedEx Field has experienced issues with its facilities. However, in the past, these issues have left people in need of a shower rather than preventing them from taking one.
The lack of hot water only compounded a bad day for the home team, who fell to 4-7 on the season. The players will have to find some other way to rinse away the stink of the loss as they head home without the luxury of a hot shower.
