The Ministry of Commerce announced today, Sunday, the launch of the online payment service for import license and export ID fees.
A statement by the ministry received by the (INA) stated that “in implementation of the directives of the Minister of Trade, Athir Dawood Al-Ghariri, the General Company for Iraqi Exhibitions has made great strides in automating all commercial transactions in line with the paragraphs of the government program to simplify the procedures for granting export and import licenses and IDs,” noting that “during the update of the import and export work system, an interface for electronic payment (payment) (on line) was created.”
The statement pointed out that “importers and exporters can access the system and benefit from this simplified and advanced electronic service.”
