The CNDD-FDD Karusi: 170 houses built for the vulnerable and welcoming of 567 new members

Gitega (Karusi, Shombo commune), 4/06/2023 – In accordance with the internal policy of Burundi, in particular that concerning the political parties created by the Belgian colonial decree of December 25, 1959, to the detriment of the miryango, traditional political instrument of the Barundi, the provincial section of the CNDD-FDD in Karusi organized an activity on Sunday. This consisted of the closing of the second series of handovers of dwelling houses to vulnerable residents of the locality, these houses having been built by the Bagumyabanga (name of the CNDD-FDD militants), and the reception of new members from different communes of Karusi. M. Rucumuhimba Evariste, Provincial Secretary of CNDD-FDD Karusi, thanked all the Bagumyabanga of Karusi for the efforts made, recalling that a total of 170 houses were built in the 7 communes of the province of Karusi and 567 new members welcomed. The CNDD-FDD is the first political formation in Burundi in terms of political balance of power.
