He stated that Indosat would take firm action against the dealer concerned.

This was conveyed on the sidelines of an activity with the Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi at the Launch of the Cybersecurity Capability Strengthening Program for 1 Million Digital Talents at the Media Center of the Ministry of Communication and Information Office, Central Jakarta, Thursday (12/9).

Vikram said Indosat management had taken firm action against partners involved in the case.

The company does not tolerate such illegal actions.

“We condemn this illegal act and do not condone the practice of misusing personal data for any reason,” he said.

Vikram said that Indosat regularly continues to evaluate and tighten supervision of the operational procedures of all its partners.
