The Ministry of Communications announced today, Tuesday, that Iraqi Post will soon enter the field of global electronic shopping at competitive prices.
A statement from the ministry, received by the (INA), stated that “Minister of Communications Hiyam Al-Yasiri chaired an important meeting that included the senior management of the General Post and Savings Company with private sector companies.”
He pointed out, “During the meeting, the mechanism and procedures for activating the electronic shopping project from global platforms through the Post and Savings Company were discussed, and a road map was developed to confront the challenges, find appropriate electronic solutions, and overcome the obstacles facing the implementation of the project, through the establishment of a special postal platform that enables the Iraqi citizen to Shopping electronically from international markets and delivering it to the citizen through the General Post and Savings Company.
