The number of emergency personnel on Ternitzer Forstnerweg is still high. Residents are waiting to return to their homes.
The reason for the large police presence on Wednesday morning remains a mystery. New emergency personnel continue to arrive, and it is unclear how long they will remain on the scene.
Residents waiting are also feeling stressed, having been unable to return to their homes for hours. While some have left their shopping in the car, in another house a dog is waiting for its owner. “May I please get my medication?” asks another lady to the police officer who has to prevent her from entering her home. Ultimately, the woman is allowed to retrieve her pills accompanied by the officer.
A press conference regarding the large deployment has been announced for 6 PM.
