The Swedish higher education system has not undergone any major reforms since the 1990s higher education reform. In Denmark, on the other hand, a series of reforms have been implemented for higher education and research.
– It is not far between Denmark and Sweden, but in terms of reforms, it is a great distance. Denmark has done a lot, and in Sweden we haven’t done much in ten years, says Education Minister Mats Persson (L) at a seminar organized by Sweden’s united student unions (SFS).
