Two days after the success of the Women’s Sepak Takraw Team, the Vietnam Sports Delegation continued to receive good news when they won another Gold medal at ASIAD 19 on competition day October 6.

The Gold medal that the Vietnamese Sports Delegation won at the Asian Games today belongs to the Karate Team.

Martial artists Luu Thi Thu Uyen, Nguyen Thi Phuong and Nguyen Ngoc Tram had an impressive performance with a very high score of 42.70, to surpass Malaysia in the Women’s team Kata final, and win the Gold medal.

This is also the third Gold medal that Vietnam has won after impressive achievements in Shooting and Sepak Takraw.

Gunner Pham Quang Huy of the Shooting Team brought home the first Gold medal when he won the final of the Men’s 10m air pistol individual event.

The second Gold medal belonged to the Vietnam Women’s Sepak Takraw Team after an impressive 2-1 comeback victory over Indonesia in the final of the 4 Women’s Sepak Takraw event at ASIAD 19.

Along with the achievements of the three “Golden Girls,” Vietnam Karate Team Also won another Silver medal today.

In the final of the -61kg Women’s Kumite event, Nguyen Thi Ngoan lost the final 0-9 to host boxer Gong Li.

The Vietnam Sepak Takraw team also won a Bronze medal in the Men’s 3 category after losing to Thailand in the semi-finals.

Meanwhile, the Women’s Sepak Takraw Team continued to play successfully with a 2-0 (9-21-7-21) victory over South Korea in the semi-finals to qualify for the Gold medal final with Thailand.

In Women’s Volleyball, the Vietnam Women’s Volleyball Team played bravely before sadly losing 1-3 to the Japanese Team.

Having lost this match, the Vietnam Women’s Volleyball Team will face Thailand in the Bronze medal match.

In the top group of the ASIAD 19 medal table, the Chinese Sports Delegation is certain to be number 1, winning 187 Gold medals, 104 Silver medals and 61 Bronze medals.

Japan also consolidated second place with 45 Gold medals, 57 Silver medals and 62 Bronze medals (not including the results of the Women’s Football final).

The Korean Sports Delegation ranked 3rd with 36 Gold medals, 48 ​​Silver medals and 84 Bronze medals.

The Indian and Uzbekistan Sports Teams are also competing fiercely for the final fourth place ASIAD 19 medal table.

India currently holds 22 Gold medals, 34 Silver medals and 39 Bronze medals, while Uzbekistan has 20 Gold medals, 18 Silver medals and 26 Bronze medals.

Positions from 6th to 10th belong to the Chinese Taipei, North Korea, Thailand, Bahrain and Kazakhstan sports delegations, respectively.
