Tirupur: The 12th annual sports competition was held at BEM School of Excellence, Kangayam Road, Tirupur. A parade was led by student leader Prakalya to start the event.
School principal Hariharasudan accepted the parade honours. The students of the school were divided into four teams wearing yellow, blue, red and green flags. The former principal of the school Kausalya Rajan hoisted the national flag. The school flag was hoisted by the school principal Hariharasudan. The Olympic flame was lit and the games began.
In this, 40 different competitions including 400m relay race, 200m and 100m race, steeplechase and swimming competition were held. The green flag team won with the highest total points. The second place was taken by the Yellow Flag team. The trophy was presented by school principal Hariharasuthan and former principal Kausalya Rajan.
