‘Big Brother’ begins, from today Monday 11 September in prime time on Canale 5. The program hosted by Alfonso Signorini starts again, directly from the new Tg5 studio there will be Cesara Buonamici as a commentator, with Rebecca Staffelli who will collect the viewers’ comments. “It will just be Big Brother, we’re going back to the origins not only in the name but also in the format. We wanted to give a return to normality”, Signorini tells Verissimo when presenting the show which this year does not have the ‘VIP’ qualification. Among the competitors there will also be ordinary people: “They have beautiful stories to tell. Each of them comes from a different reality.”
The protagonists of this edition of the reality show, produced by Endemol Shine Italy, are 21 contestants including well-known faces and ordinary people, “each with their own story, characterized by ascents and ascents, essential baggage to better enjoy this unique and unrepeatable experience”, announces Mediaset.
The name of Alex Schwazer stands out in the squad, Olympic gold medalist in the race walk in Beijing and recent protagonist of an obscure doping affair which effectively ended his career. Then, the actress Beatrice Luzzi, the worker Giselda Torresan, the queen of telenovelas Grecia Colmenares, the photographer Letizia Petris and the engineer Vittorio Menozzi will enter the house. The winner and the final prize money of 100,000 euros will be those who manage to pass through the nominations and surprise eliminations unscathed.
On TV, ‘Big Brother’ will be visible in prime time on Canale 5 with two weekly appointments starting on Monday 11th and Friday 15th September. The reality show will go live every day on Mediaset Extra, Mediaset Infinity and La5 with live connections from Monday to Friday at 12.30pm and 7.10pm and from Monday to Sunday at 1am. Furthermore, there will be no shortage of day-time windows on Canale 5 (from Monday to Friday at 4.10 pm live on episode days with Alfonso Signorini) and on Italia 1 (from Monday to Friday at 1.00 pm).
